We invite You to an exhibition!

From 1st to 25th April, the date on which the main course will be held IX Cracovia Marathon, at the Small Market Square in Krakow can be viewed an specially prepared exhibition of photographs. Presented are photographs taken during the previous editions of Cracovia Marathon.

The Cracovia Marathon is an annual marathon organized by Krakow Municipality. It is accompanied by many spring sport events. The distance of The Marathon route is 42, 195 km and it takes the runners through the most interesting and picturesque places in Krakow: Błonia Krakowskie, embankments of Vistula River, streets of Old Town and Nowa Huta district. The Marathon was established in 2002 and has been run every year since. Year by year The Marathon has been gaining more participants and supporters. Moreover, there has been an increasing interest from media and The Cracovia Marathon has been also attracting tourists visiting Krakow during spring season. The Marathon has an undisputed input in promoting running as a part of healthy lifestyle and physical activity available to everyone. Therefore, for many runners participation in The Cracovia Marathon is one of their life ambitions.

2120 competitors participated in the last year's, 8th edition of The Cracovia Marathon. The number included 224 foreign and 42 disabled runners. There were also 274 roller-skaters. The 9th edition of The Cracovia Marathon will take place on 24th and 25th April 2010.

We would like to invite all interested runners and supporters to participate in this year edition! We also invite to an exhibition!

The exhibition has been created by Sports Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow in cooperation with Department of Social Benefits at Krakow City Hall.
