Statute of 6th INTERNATIONAL KRAKOW?S CHAMPIONSHIP IN MOUNTAIN RUNNING ?THREE MOUNDS RUN?
1. The Goal of the Event
The goal of the event is to promote the concept of running as the easiest form of active leisure, to promote healthy life-style among the residents of Krakow and the region and to familiarize with the landscape and historical values of the city.
2. Date and Place
a. 7 October 2012 (Sunday)
b. Start 10.30 a.m. at the Krakus' Mound on the Lasota Hill (Podgórze District);
Finish at the Piłsudski's Mound (the Las Wolski Forest).
c. Office - Primary School no 29, ul. Dembowskiego 12, Krakow
6/10/2012 (Saturday) from 3.00 p.m. until 7 p.m.
7/10/2012 (Sunday) from 7.00 a.m. until 9.30 a.m.

a. The length of the route is about 13 km. The difference of levels amounts to approximately 160 m.
b. Route: Krakus' Mound Lasota Hill (start), ul. Dembowskiego, the Podgórski Market, Bernatka overpass, Vistula Boulevards, the Saint Bronisława Hill, al. Waszyngtona, Kościuszki Mound, the Las Wolski forest, Piłsudski Mound (finish).
c. It is required to complete the route within the statutory time limit i.e. until 1.00 p.m.
5. Terms of Participation
a. All participants must complete the registration form.
b. Associated and non-associated runners born in 1995 and older are allowed to participate in the run.
c. Participant must have a valid medical examination or submit a written statement of their health condition allowing them to take part in the run.
d. Participants below 18 years of age must have a written consent of their guardian.
e. Entry fee:
PLN 25 until 31/08/2012
PLN 40 between 1/09-3/10/2012
In the Office in cash:
PLN 60 between 6-7/10/2012
f. Participants above 60 years of age are exempted from the entry fee on the basis of a document stating their identity and disabled on the basis of disability degree certificate.
g. The holders of the Krakowska Karta Rodzinna 4+ card presented for inspection together with a document confirming identity at the reception of the start package are entitled to 20% discount calculated adequately to the date and form of payment (i.e. the fee amounts to: PLN 20 (until 31/08), PLN 32 (1/09-3/10), PLN 48 (6-7/10)).
h. The entry fee is not subject to refund under any circumstances.
i. The Organizer establishes a limit of entries being 2000 participants.

b. The fee can be settled in the Office when collecting the start package or on the bank account:

c. In order to collect the package it is required to present the fee payment confirmation and a document stating identity.
d. Organizer issues VAT invoices within 7 days from the date of transferring the fee onto the bank account. Details for the invoice together with the payment confirmation must be sent to the organizer within 3 days from the date of the payment.
7. Race Categories
a. The run classification will follow the Open Women and Men categories and in the age categories:
17 - 19 years
20 - 29 years
30 - 39 years
40 - 49 years
50 - 59 years
60 - 69 years
70 years and above
separately for women and men.
a. In the Open category prizes are awarded to women and men who take positions from the 1st to 4th.
The value of the prizes for women and men amounts to:
1st place - PLN 2000 (including a voucher of value PLN 700 + PLN 1300 in cash)
2nd place - PLN 1500 (including a voucher of value PLN 500 + PLN 1000 in cash)
3rd place - PLN 1000 (including a voucher of value PLN 300 + PLN 700 in cash)
4th place - PLN 500 (cash prize) + in-kind prize
5th place - PLN 400 (cash prize) + in-kind prize
6th place - PLN 300 (cash prize) + in-kind prize
b. The in-kind prizes in age categories are awarded to women and men who take positions from the 1st to 3rd.
c. Participants classified in the Open category do not participate in the division of prizes for particular categories.
PRIZES AND WINS AND THE FLAT-RATE INCOME
The flat-rate income tax is levied on income obtained as prizes and wins. The tax rate changes however in this respect and the way of calculating it. What is more, there are a number of tax exemptions. Article 30 Paragraph 1 Subparagraph 2 of the Personal Income Tax Act indicates that tax in the amount of 10% of the prize or win is levied on income obtained in the Republic of Poland by way of wins in competitions, games and pari-mutuel betting or prizes related with premium sale is. Pursuant to the Article 21 Paragraph 1 of the Act, tax free are: the value of wins in competitions and games organized and announced by mass media (press, radio, TV) and competitions in science, culture, journalism and sport as well as prizes related with premium sale if the single value of these wins is not greater than PLN 760.00, the tax exemption of the prizes related to premium sale does not apply to the prizes received by the tax-payer in relation to the conducted non-agriculture business being the income of this business activity (Subsection 68).
9. Organizer's Benefits
a. Start package:
b. Participants completing the run according to the Rules and Regulations will receive a commemorative medal at the finish.
c. The route of the run will be marked.
d. Organizer provides medical rescue assistance during the event.
e. Organizer provides transport, from the start to the finish, of personal luggage packed in numbered sacks received together with the start package.
Deposit at the start open on 7/10/2012 between 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
The cars leave at 10.00 a.m.
f. There will be a bus for the fans taking them to the finish. It leaves from the Podgórski Market at 10.40 a.m.
10. Final Provisions
a. The Run participants are obliged to obey the rules and regulations, general safety rules and to follow the instructions of the organizer and the safety personnel.
b. During the run the participants must have the start numbers pinned centrally to the front of their T-shirt on the chest.
c. Participants who complete the distance of the run in a prohibited manner will be disqualified.
d. The event will take place regardless of the weather conditions.
e. The Run participants must follow the hereby Rules and Regulations.
f. The participants give their consent to process their personal data for the internal purposes of the organizer and to use their image in promotional and informative materials of the event.
g. Organizer reserves the right to change the hereby Rules and Regulations of which they are obliged to inform the Run participants before the start at the latest.
Participants take part in the event on their own responsibility. Organizer does not provide the Run participants with accident insurance. It is advised to have one's own accident insurance.
