Run With us Among the Mounds!

The aim of the Open Krakow International Mountain Run Championship ? the Three Mound?s Run is the popularization of the idea of running as the simplest form of active relaxation, promoting healthy lifestyle among citizens of Krakow and the region and familiarization with the landscape and historic qualities of the city.

The Three Mounds' Run is the only in Poland mountain run with the route within the centre of a metropolis. Organizers made use of the specific natural topography within the city of Krakow and they marked out the route among three mounds - Krakusa, Kościuszki and Piłsudskiego. This picturesque, thirteen kilometres long route shows how natural environment perfectly fits the historic and modern architecture of the exceptional city of Krakow.
On the Vistula Boulevards, on the Podgórski Market, in the Wolski Forest, close to Wawel and the Norbertines cloister - almost every place on the route proves that Krakow has not only incredible tourist offer, but also charming landscapes. Moreover, the city panorama can be admired both from the start and finish line, located at 269 and 358 metres above mean sea level.
The run is a perfect way of bringing Krakow's attractions closer to participants and to their fans and tourists. The route of the Three Mounds' Run has not only impressive landscape value, but also it presents historical and legendary locations in Krakow.
